I never tire of reflections in glassy canals. Shooting at night is going to mean a lot of tripod carrying - I normally use a gorilla pod, my bike rack or shoot hand-held at high ISO and wide apertures. Some shots simply demand the use of a tripod. I don't see myself carrying a full blown tripod for every day for the next 365 days, but I am certainly going to be getting significantly more use out of mine. Shot at 85mm (135mm in 35mm terms), 2.5s, f/5.6, ISO 100, Aperture Priority.
